We established Turner Felix Associates in 2016 in order to continue helping and working with the senior executive community following our careers in executive search and management.
Our conclusions from day to day involvement with leaders in a wide variety of organisations were that senior executives are especially vulnerable to the dangers of stress, unwillingness to seek help or personal advice. All factors which if not addressed can lead to poor performance, the breakdown of relationships and dangers to individual and family life.
Why should this be the case?
The burden of responsibility for managing an organisation whether large or small is considerable and continuous. There are few moments when issues or even crises are far from a leaders mind. And many of the issues are people related. Whether it be executive talent recruitment, team building, performance management or organisational development, all are critical to the success of the organisation and all carry angst and difficult decision making. Not least of all are the politics of any human group and the management of relationships between people.
As trusted advisors our aim is to listen and provide a confidential sounding board to address such challenges. We offer a ‘release valve’ and guidance to highly pressured people which can contribute to the quality of their decision-making, personal confidence, career planning and success.
