Board advisory
The effectiveness of the Board of any organisation can be crucial to its success. Yet often Boards are plagued by variable competence of its members, personality conflicts, focus on non-critical issues and inappropriate interference with the operations and responsibilities of the Executive.
Turner Felix conducts soundings within the Board and Executive Committee and presents conclusions as to how Board performance may be improved. The evaluation process is consultative and can lead to recommendations concerning the composition of the Board, its operating parameters and structure.
The same process is applied to the functioning of Advisory Boards. Although they operate under different criteria to the main board they nevertheless have an important role to play if established and operated effectively.
Turner Felix has acquired extensive experience in reviewing the functioning of Advisory Boards which culminated in its report, which you can read below.

This report investigates the use and functioning of Advisory Boards across a wide range of company, not-for-profit and governmental organisations.
